CCT InfoTech (Hong Kong) Ltd. first became involved in Singapore Metro development in March 1999, on the concept design for “Marina Line” (subsequently part of the Circle Line. Under a sub-consultant agreement with Parsons Brinkerhoff, Hong Kong, CCT team was responsible for development of communications and information systems concept development.
C151A - In May 2009., Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) was awarded the Contract 151A to supply Trains for North-South / East-West Lines by Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore. KHI appointed CCT InfoTech via RB Consulting (Hong Kong) Ltd., as Independent Software Assessor for the rolling stock on-board systems. The Appointment was approved by LTA. CCT’s initial task was to provide a Software Assessment Plan, then to conduct Assessment of Software Suppliers planning and requirement stage documents. Prepare for and conduct Software Assessment audits at the development location, covering Software Planning phase, including System and Safety Requirements and Software Safety Integrity Level (SIL). The assessments were applicable to all software suppliers. Assessments were conducted at each stage of the Project, from conception to testing and trial running in the integrated railway environment, to ascertain whether the software was fit for purpose and achieved the allocated SIL. CCT prepared and issued reports to KHI, for submission to LTA. the Final Assessment Report was issued in August 2011.
C151B - KHI again appointed CCT InfoTech via RB Consulting (Hong Kong) Ltd. in September 2013 and the first Software Assessments were conducted in January 2014 and the Final Assessment Report was issued in May 2016.
C151C - In February 2016, work began on this third LTA Contract, CCT was again appointed Independent Software Assessor for the Project. The overall Assessment records were incorporated into final report submitted to LTA – July 2018
